I have a quiet place deep within me that is serene and beautiful.

It is an inner well from which I drink of things eternal, virtuous,

true. From its depths I bring up and out, into more harried,

temporal, less-ageless frames of mind, quantities and qualities

of immortal poise, love, and patience to see things truly.

And though I am entrenched, encircled, by freezing storms of

illusion, the bustle of fleeting activity, and the grip of earthy things,

my place of stillness and peace is always with me, enabling me to

lift the curtain in time of need, and see my true position in eternity.

I will not give way to feelings of insignificance, nor imagine myself

poor and orphaned on this earth. I have assurances deep within of

a heavenly, loving Father, riches beyond mortal measure, and an
